The best pizza I've had in a long time .The dough was crispy and thin. The sauce was very good .Not no can sauce .It was homemade The best part was that the owner cooked my cheese well, just like I had asked We will be back

I had Gulotta's pizza for the first time tonight, & WOW!....It is definitely THE best pizza I've ever had! The sauce is slightly sweet, the pizza is not greasy, & the crust is so light & good that I feel I could eat a whole 12-inch in one sitting!...(although I didn't). 😊 Also, the owner is really friendly! It is carry-out & cash only, but well worth the drive. (Yes, I am an extended relative of the owner, but that did not influence my review....the pizza is just simply this good!!) πŸ˜ƒ

Wow. Just, wow. This is one of those old school treasures that I just cherish. There is ONE employee here -Nick, an awesome guy- and he gets there early every morning to make the dough, the sauce, and EVEN THE SAUSAGES from scratch (cheese is made custom for him from a store in Chicago). He keeps the tradition of his family going on one-of-a-kind antique oven that produces a special cook. This pizza came out smelling AMAZING but somehow nothing like any pizza I have ever had -and I've had pizza all over America (I'm from Boston, have lived in Chicago and LA, spent countless weekends all over NYC, Jersey, Philly, etc. I just gotta say WOW. Thank you Nick! Dave Portnoy should come see you

Gullotta’s is a little walk in/take out pizza joint(cash only). I’ve driven past it a million times. We tried it a few weeks ago for the first time and my husband and son swear that this is the best pizza in town!! We went back again last night and had the same results! First time I had the Italian beef and it was flavorful and juicy but the bread… it was crusty and flaky on the outside and fluffy yet dense on the inside. The absolute perfect bread for a juicy sandwich. We also had the lasagna(which I believe is only available on the weekends) and it was fantastic as well. His Grandma’s sauce is splendid(β€˜Mamma Gulotta’s’ sold at Woodman's). To top it all off, Nick Gulotta; the owner, chef, order taker, carry out worker(he does it all himself!!!), is just about the nicest person I have ever met. I know some very kind/caring people, but Nick takes the cake. I just can’t believe how long it’s taken us to try it but am so glad we finally did! Thank you, Nick!! We will keep on coming back as long as you’re willing to make us pizza!!

Service was great at this fun, little hole in the wall spot that's obviously a decades old favorite in town. Cash only, but the price was right and the pie was tasty! We took four pizzas home and they fed our crew of 16 easily. I'm only deducting one star for food because the mushrooms are from a jar and I'm picky about that.., but everything else was delicious.
